Another way greeting Xmas

Drs Rodrigo sends by postal mail a greeting card every New Year. This time they were in a hurry because the time was past and they were so busy. When they call me for an easy solution I suggested then to send an image by WhatsApp, it would be faster, cheaper and more effective. So I analyzed the features that the communication had to have. It had to be very simple, the message had to be very clear and had to be emotional for greeting Xmas.

Developing website for several clients

When I decided to leave my job as a digital creative director was because I wanted to help little companies and entrepreneurs with their issues. One of the topic that I had to deal with was their budget that was very short. So I had to find an easy cheap solution to give them the opportunity to have theirs on websites and to be able to edit it and change it on their own.  For this reason, I started to develop the website in CMS, with the famous one WordPress.

Bjork contacted me because he cared about his company and he knew that “if you don’t appear on the Internet, you don’t exist”. He was very clear about their needs, they wanted a very effective website with very few elements. I created a one-page only website because it had a little information to tell. I made it look attractive thought colors, typography, the texture of an image.

Publytal is a printing service company but besides they print all kind of advertising supports they offer other kinds of services. My challenge in this project was to raise the printing service look and feel to be distinguished from competitors.

Blount is a construction company they need a very simple website where they could show the results of their work done. The feature more significant that I proposed to them was to show the before and after work done because I considered It could be their best proof of the quality of their work.

Maribel Martin is a painter artist who needed a website to show her artwork. The most characteristic thing about her painting is the texture of the materials used. The challenge in this project was how to show the artwork to be appreciated in their dimension. For this reason, I decide to leave a single page for a picture of each work. The website was very clear and easy to update because she needed to self-sufficient to introduce easy her new workpieces. 

THE LOVE FOREST

 It was around 2008 and I was in charge of the digital creative department at Wunderman. Movistar wanted us to make a proposal to do a digital action for young people for Valentines Day. 

We analyzed the target and found about this feature about them: they were people between 16 and 20 years old, the first Millenials. They were the Nintendo generation. They manage easily with technology. Their claim was the friend first. They liked to show up. Facebook wasn´t yet known.

With all this information I decided to create an online place where they can show their love for somebody and to see other peoples messages. I thought were people, historically, wrote their love messages in trees.

So I came up with the idea of a digital forest where everybody could write their messages in trees. I schemed in a paper how it would be. It would had this functions: a virtual visit where you could see and read other peoples tree messages,  you could choose a tree and write a dedication, also share it with somebody by email, introductions to use it, terms and conditions.

With the sketch done, one of the digital art directors of our team made the mock-up. And we presented it to the Movistar team who were very pleased and happy with the result. I don´t remember the data but there were a large number of visitors.

Iberia check-in

Working at Wunderman I had to design all the Iberia check-in screens. I worked hand to hand with Iberia who had studied their customer journey very deeply. This project was a challenge for me because it was long and tough, there were some many screens to design and so many people envolve.

Working at Whiplash as an Art director I was in charge of the new business. The owners of the company told me to develop a new digital action to present innovative ideas for Pepe Jeans. It was before internet 2.0 apears. I came up with the idea of an online store in a desktop application (that was the technology then).
